When Twitter launched a new feature that gives its users suggestions of who to follow earlier this week, it sounded like only so much, “Duh.” After all, Facebook has been at this for quite some time. Its “People You Might Know” feature, like a fishing pond, continually restocks itself with relatives, co-workers and acquaintances you might be interested in friending.

I HAVE been a great campaigner for Malaysia as a country and Kuala Lumpur as a city.
Lately, however, I have found myself at a loss to tell my friends why they should visit KL, especially if they have already been here once in the last 10 years.
While Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau have invested in new stories with the opening of Universal theme park, lavish casinos, Formula 1 Night Race, and integrated resorts, China and India continue to attract interest for their sheer economic momentum.

The solar fireworks at the weekend were recorded by several satellites, including Nasa’s new Solar Dynamics Observatory which watched its shock wave rippling outwards.
Astronomers from all over the world witnessed the huge flare above a giant sunspot the size of the Earth, which they linked to an even larger eruption across the surface of Sun.
