BH: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is roadshow no-show

A day after Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg kicked off the roadshow for next week’s IPO in New York, the young billionaire yesterday was a no-show at a Hub event where hundreds of potential investors and analysts were left waiting in line for more than an hour.

Zuckerberg, who turns 28 on Monday, did not attend the main presentation at the Four Seasons, opting instead for a handful of private powwows with large firms such as Fidelity Investments.

“The fear of many investors is that certain investors are disadvantaged if there is preferential information flow,” Michael Greeley, general partner of Flybridge Capital Partners, told the Herald. “It’s very unorthodox for the CEO not to be out meeting with all investors. A great CEO should do many things well, and one of them is investor relations.”
