UNLIKE some public relations (PR) companies that compete on pricing, Burson-Marsteller will rather compete on services in line with its image as a premium consulting communications company.
Its Asia-Pacific president and chief executive officer Bob Pickard says it would strive to render high quality services unlike some PR agencies in the country that tend to focus on low-price publicity stints. “If you compete for quality rather than price, you don't have to chase for the money as the money will come and look for you”, he says, when emphasising the importance of quality in the communication industry.
He adds the company had been selective with whom it worked, especially those firms that invested highly in PR and understood the importance of good PR work for their businesses. Read full article>>
