JAKARTA: Grey Malaysia’s Gautam Mehta who resigned a little while back and went to India to get married is setting his sights on Indonesia now. He joins McCann Worldgroup Indonesia as Executive Creative Director effective later this month.

McCann Indonesia has also seen the departure of CEO Jan Gerits who left for New York a few months ago and recently the conclusion of Executive Creative Director John Bailey’s tenure.

The jovial John told ADOI jokingly he wouldn’t mind a stint in the south of France (obviously referring to the sunny city of Cannes). John had a good run in McCann during his time, and there has been a regeneration of McCann’s creative department of late.

Niraj Dadoo, who heads McCann Worldgroup in Indonesia says, "We are excited to have Gautam on board with us now. His award-winning credentials and experiences of dealing with some of the world’s leading brands will surely be a boost to our clients and staff."
