ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) has appointed Mike Kerr, Vice President, Southeast Asia, Affiliate & Multimedia Sales. Mike makes a lateral move from ESS’ Advertising Sales department, where he was most recently Vice President, Advertising Sales, Operations & Strategy.
ESPN STAR Sports (ESS) has appointed Mike Kerr, Vice President, Southeast Asia, Affiliate & Multimedia Sales. Mike makes a lateral move from ESS’ Advertising Sales department, where he was most recently Vice President, Advertising Sales, Operations & Strategy.

In his new role, Mike will be responsible for the company’s on-going channels expansion in key regional markets as well as strengthening its relationships with platform operators in the region. He will report to Adam Zecha, Senior Vice President, Affiliate & Multimedia Sales and will continue to be based in Singapore.

Prior to his new role, Mike spent the last eight years with ESS’s Advertising Sales department, where he was responsible for leading the advertising sales and sponsorship planning and strategy across ESS’ 17 networks. Mike also had direct responsibility for advertising sales in Hong Kong, Japan and Korea and for the client service and sales operations departments.

Before that, Mike was based in Hong Kong from 2000-2004 as Senior Manager of Integrated and Advertising Sales, where he was tasked with developing and managing value-driven sponsorship and advertising campaigns for ESS’ North Asia-based clients.
