LOWE RIDES OFF WITH MOST OF SUZUKI!

Lowe Malaysia has scooped the lion’s share of brand communications for Suzuki cars after an initial pitch in May awarded the Agency a single model.

In late May Lowe won the strategy and creative assignments for Suzuki’s new sedan car, the SX4. The Agency won the pitch with recommendations that connected to Suzuki’s global brand positioning, but also targeted Malaysia’s middle and upper income earners who have an “early adopter” mindset as the key audience.

With the campaign launching, Suzuki has now awarded Lowe three additional models, the Swift, Swift Sport and the SX4 Crossover.

Suzuki Malaysia Automobile is a new joint venture company that locally assembles as well as imports Suzuki models from Japan.  It is 40% owned by Malaysian conglomerate DRB-Hicom.

“The Suzuki brand is making a concerted push for significant share in the Malaysian car market,” said Lowe Malaysia’s Managing Director, Khairudin Rahim. “We presented our new clients with High Value Ideas that connected to Suzuki’s global brand positioning and target market relevance. We believe the ideas and the quality of the Suzuki product will be very attractive to motorists.”
