Andrew joins McCann as Head of Brand & Engagement Planning from DDB China, where he was Head of Planning.
Mark Ingrouille, Region Director Southeast Asia, McCann Worldgroup announced today the appointment of Andrew Leong to Head of Brand and Engagement Planning for Singapore. Leong joins McCann Singapore from DDB Shanghai. In his new role, he will report directly to Ingrouille, who is also the CEO for McCann Worldgroup Singapore. "Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience managing and building leading international and Asian brands in Malaysia, Singapore, China and across the region. We’re thrilled to have him with us and look forward to him driving the critically important planning department for our Singapore group.", said Ingrouille. “I was drawn towards the prospect of working closely with McCann’s list of blue chip brands and sterling client portfolio; and I am looking forward to contributing towards some great upcoming communication campaigns”, added Leong. Most recently the Regional Planning Director for J&J Skincare with DDB Shanghai working specifically on Neutrogena and Clean & Clear brands, Leong has over 15 years of agency experience in both account management and planning. Prior to DDB Shanghai, he was the planning director for Leo Burnett Malaysia, BBDO Malaysia/ Singapore, and Naga DDB Malaysia where he also served in the capacity of General Manager. He is married to ex-ADOI magazine editor Monica Wong. |


Andrew joins McCann as Head of Brand & Engagement Planning from DDB China, where he was Head of Planning. He is originally from Malaysia, where he worked at BBDO, JWT and Leo Burnett. Andrew will drive the planning department for McCann Worldgroup Singapore and was educated at Newcastle University and the University of New South Wales.
