Leo Burnett Group has Hilda Sadang to Strategic Planning Director, Malaysia. In her new role, Sadang will report directly to Tan Kien Eng, CEO, Leo Burnett Group Singapore and Malaysia. With diverse regional experience working across Singapore, Hong Kong and China where she spent close to ten years living in Shanghai and Beijing, Sadang began her advertising career as a suit at D’arcy Singapore working on P&G. She was subsequently transferred to Hong Kong to work on the same account. Sadang’s planning career began when she joined Ogilvy Shanghai as the Associate Planning Director on Coca Cola, Gillette and KFC. She went on to join Lowe Shanghai as the Planning Director on Unilever with a primary focus on Rexona in China. Following which, she went on to take on the role of Market Development Planner for Rexona re-launch in markets including Japan and India. She also accumulated experience on other Unilever brands in China including OMO and Zhong Hua while working on local pitches With most of her experiences rooted in the fundamentals of brand development range of consumer researches, ethnography studies, category building, new product launches and brand equity campaigns, Sadang has also consumer studies that captured the dynamics of change in China including role models for youth, blue collar men, what drives people online and generations 60-90. |
