Euro RSCG Worldwide has appointed Naomi Troni to the role of CEO, Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, Troni will oversee the agency’s operations in that market, as well as in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Troni is expected to leverage her extensive network knowledge and relationships to take the sub-region to the next level of growth.

The move sees Troni relocating from her previous role as global chief marketing officer, Euro RSCG Worldwide (based in New York); to the agency’s regional headquarters in Singapore. In Southeast Asia, Euro RSCG works with a wide range of clients including Carlsberg, Danone, Reckitt Benckiser, Far East Organization and Singapore’s largest supermarket, FairPrice.

“Naomi is without question one of our brightest stars,” said David Jones, global CEO of Havas. “In the eight years she’s been at Euro RSCG, she’s epitomized the agency’s ‘Future First’ ethos—always creating new efficiencies and more innovative solutions, always looking beyond the now to see what’s next. Whenever possible, we like to promote from within, and Naomi’s leadership skills and relentless drive make her the obvious choice to take over the essential task of further growing our business in Asia. We’re all excited to see what changes she’ll bring.”

Troni has worked within the Euro RSCG network since 2004 in various roles in both the U.K. and U.S. As global CMO, she was responsible for leading the network’s new business and marketing, promoting best practices across all 316 offices in 75 countries, and leveraging new business successes throughout the network. She has been a member of the Euro RSCG Worldwide Executive Committee since 2010.

After earning a degree in biology from Oxford University, Troni started her advertising career at McCann Erickson. She is a frequent blogger on the Huffington Post and other sites and has served as a judge for numerous advertising awards, including Mobius and the EFFIES. In 2011, she won the Best Executive award at the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Troni’s new role is effective November 1.
