specialist Carat Malaysia, also a member of Aegis Media Group, announced today the appointment of Fan Chen Yip, previously General Manager of Carat, as Trading Director of Aegis Media Malaysia Group.

Fan’s current promotion comes a year after he was announced as General Manager of Carat in 2011. In his new role, Fan will be instrumental in leading agency negotiations and improving client’s investment portfolios across the group.

“Fan’s outstanding achievements, impeccable reputation for excellence and a remarkable track record continues to strengthen our company. We are extremely delighted to see him earn yet another promotion that is not only good news for him, but to the entire company as well. Fan is a highly regarded individual in the industry and this appointment demonstrates Aegis’ position in the market place and the exciting trajectory we are on,” said Margaret Lim, Executive Chairman of Aegis Media Malaysia. He will be succeeded by Darren Yuen, previously the Integrated Business Director of Carat. This new responsibility is an extension of Darren’s longstanding career at Carat, where he will work alongside Carat’s CEO in managing the operations of Carat.

With these organisational changes within its management team in place, the company looks to further solidify its performance and growth within the industry, surpassing its 2011 achievements.
