MATRADE Launch Mobile Apps for Exporters and Media

Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) has launched its first mobile applications - MyExport and Trade2Media, for the convenience of Malaysian exporters and members of media to receive information direct to their mobile phone. YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade & Industry.

To enable greater accessibility, these apps support multiple mobile platforms comprising iOS, Android and Research in Motion (RIM) operating system for smartphones and tablets.


Both apps can be downloaded for free from App Store, Google Play or App World. Driven by digital enablement, in particular the mobile technology and the change in the way people work today, these apps have been developed as part of MATRADE’s enhanced service delivery in disseminating trade information in a more convenient way to its customers, both the business and the public, including the media. YB Dato’ Mustapa said, initiatives such as these are part of government’s continuous outreach programmes to facilitate the business community and media in undertaking their work.

“With these mobile apps, now literally in the hands of the SMEs and the media, we trust that it will facilitate your work, especially in retrieving information at your convenience. I urge both the private sector and media to fully capitalise on this new platform and service introduced by MATRADE to access valuable and timely information wherever you are”.
