Once again, M&C Saatchi (M) Sdn Bhd proudly unveils the latest Tourism Malaysia tv advertising campaign to be aired online throughout the Americas, Europe and Oceania (AERO) markets beginning with New Zealand in March and across the market by April. Aptly themed “Wonders of Malaysia”, the campaign debuts never-before-featured tourist attractions in Malaysia. The M&C Saatchi team produced a 5-minute presentation video, a 60-second motherboard and three 30-second independent spots highlighting “Food & Shopping”, “Eco & Culture” and “Eco & Adventure” respectively.

The tv campaign lures potential tourists with breathtaking sights and exciting activities proprietary of Malaysia, beyond its sunny beaches and lush rainforests, from UNESCO Heritage Sites Mount Kinabalu and Mulu Caves to the untamed wilds of Imbak Canyon and the newly-discovered Imbak Falls. In between are Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary, Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Center, the Kinabatangan River Night and the Malaysian Homestay experience. The pulsating KL City skyline plays backdrop to the luxury shopping scene, intricate handicrafts and fabulous food to entice visitors from all walks of life.

An original song titled “Undeniable” further supports the campaign. Its vibrant upbeat music and clever use of traditional musical instruments promotes Malaysia’s diverse races and their culture.

Creative Director Marzuki Maani himself was transformed by the experience of shooting this campaign. “It’s amazing to be reminded of just beautiful this country is. There is so much more than meets the eye. The locals we met along the way – even in the middle of rainforest – showed  genuine warmth, honesty and sincerity. Life is simple, filled with happiness and people live in harmony. It changed my perspective".
