Big Road Media Pte Ltd has been awarded the license by BBC Worldwide to publish the top-selling motoring magazine. The April 2012 issue will be the company's first for Malaysia and Singapore, and will hit newsstands in March. Big Road Media is planning to launch the Indonesia edition by the end of 2012.

Come March, new hands will be behind TopGear Magazine in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Big Road Media Pte Ltd has been awarded the license by BBC Worldwide to publish the top-selling motoring magazine. The April 2012 issue will be the company's first for Malaysia and Singapore, and will hit newsstands in March. Big Road Media is planning to launch the Indonesia edition by the end of 2012.

At the same time, Big Road Media is happy to announce that it has appointed Mr. Louis Foo as a consultant on the project, to guide the company in its stewardship of the magazine in the three territories.

Mr Foo was Vice President of Measat Publications Sdn Bhd, and played a leading role within the launch team that brought TopGear Magazine to Malaysia and Singapore five years ago.

"I'm very excited to be coming on board for this project, having worked on TopGear Magazine from inception in Malaysia and Singapore," said Louis. "I'm passionate about the best car magazine in the market, and intend to make sure that its already high standards are raised to a new level."

Big Road Media has appointed OTR Multimedia to run its Malaysian operations and Big Bang Media Pte Ltd as its publishing partner in Singapore. The Indonesia partners will be announced in due time. Big Road Media Pte Ltd is currently the licensee for topgear.com.

OTR Multimedia is a member of the OTR group of companies, which also publishes the On The Road motoring classifieds magazine. TopGear Malaysia is currently the country's best selling motoring magazine.
