Mudah.my, Malaysia’s largest online marketplace announced today that it has appointed Mr Kong Yuk Loong as its General Manager with immediate effect. As General Manager of Mudah.my, Kong is poised to chart the strategic direction and drive further growth momentum of Mudah.my. More importantly, he will harness all the technological skills and tools available to aggressively execute and drive forward the visionary plans set forth for this fast growing local e-marketplace leader.

A regionally recognised technology persona, Kong has held various leadership positions in a number of multi-national companies within the region. He was most recently the Managing Director of HTC Asia for India, Hong Kong and Korea, where he was instrumental in achieving record sales for the Hong Kong and Indian markets. Prior to his appointment at HTC Asia, Kong was the General Manager of Apple Inc. in Taiwan. From 1995 to 2003, he held various management positions in Compaq Computer and IBM Corporation.

Kong holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom.
