Officiated by Emmanuel Andre, Regional Director TBWA\ Asia-Pacific at The Shooting Valley, Glenmarie, Shah Alam, the event also saw the attendance of many of Malaysia's top luminaries in the field of media, marketing and communications.

CREATIVE JUICE\SIL is the culmination of the acquisition of the highly awarded Sil Ad (KL) Sdn Bhd by TBWA and the infusion of the creative prowess and branding of Creative Juice.

CREATIVE JUICE\SIL will be the third office in the world bearing this renowned brand name, with Creative Juice\G1 in Thailand as the pioneer agency. Creative Juice\G1 was first launched in Thailand in 1998, and the second agency, based in Manila, followed suit in 2006.

Both Creative Juice\G1's Chief Executive Officer, Witawat Jayapani and Executive Creative Director, Thirasak Tanapatanakul, are well recognised in their fields of work - the former is known as being the foremost strategic thinker in Thailand; whilst the latter is known as the most awarded creative in Asia; one of the world's best known creative judges; and a recipient of innumerable top creative awards.

Within eight short years, Creative Juice\ G1 is now the leading force in Asia and arguably the world, chalking up accolades such as Asia's Agency of the Year (2006), Asia Pacific Office of the Year (2005, 2006) and 4th Most Awarded Agency in the World (2006), just to name a few.

On its latest development in Malaysia, Keith Smith, Regional Chairman of TBWA\ Asia-Pacific and its International President, said via a video speech that the decision provides the TBWA network with another opportunity to further expand its business in the growing Malaysian market.

"Our group of companies in Malaysia has grown significantly over the years and we now feel that the Malaysian market is ready for another one of TBWA's creative entities, the much awarded Creative Juice," he added.

"In fact, Creative Juice, an independently run unit of TBWA, is one we are extremely proud of because of its creative pedigree."

In Malaysia, CREATIVE JUICE\SIL will be helmed by industry veteran, Sa'ad Hussein. He was the previous co-owner of Sil Malaysia, a Malaysian-based creative agency which was voted one of the top ten advertising agencies in Malaysia. He promises to continue building the company's creative reputation and more importantly, mimic the success of its counterpart in Thailand.

Speaking to reporters, Sa'ad said, "In a world where 'thinking out of the box' has become the norm, we are pushing for ideas to be realized. We are encouraging our clients to be bold in accepting fresh ideas and new ways of communication - a sure-fire way to build and strengthen a brand in a market that is oversaturated."

"It is one thing to have creative ideas, but having a brave client to run these ideas is critical. It takes a bold agency to push the creativity limits and an even braver client to embrace it.
